Our Story
Made in the kitchen. Made with love.
Madi's Making Memories is a small, family-run shop built on a simple idea — the best moments in life happen around food, and the people you make it with.
How it started
It started with a flour-covered apron and a two-year-old who wanted to help
When our daughter was two years old, she pulled a chair up to the kitchen counter and announced she was ready to bake. She was covered in flour within minutes. She was beaming the entire time.
That afternoon, Madi realized something: the apron her daughter was wearing was just a plain, oversized thing that kept slipping off. It didn't feel special. It didn't feel like hers. And that moment — that perfect, flour-dusted, giggling moment — deserved something better.
So we made her one. With her name on it. And she wore it every single time she wanted to bake.
What we believe
The kitchen is where families come alive
We believe that cooking together isn't just about the food. It's about the conversations that happen while you're waiting for the dough to rise. The traditions that get passed down without anyone even realizing it. The way a child's face lights up when they pull something out of the oven that they made with their own hands.
Every apron we make is a small invitation to slow down and be present. To let the kids make a mess. To teach the recipe your grandmother taught you. To make a memory that sticks.
Handcrafted with intention
Every apron is made to order. We don't mass-produce — we make each one with care, because the person wearing it deserves that.
Personalized, not generic
A name on an apron changes everything. It says: this was made for you. That's the feeling we want every customer to have.
Family first, always
We're a family business. We understand what it means to juggle a household, a business, and a kitchen full of little helpers. That's exactly who we make these for.
Meet MadisMakingMemories
Hi, we are MadisMakingMemories — and we make aprons for families like mine
I'm a mom and a maker. I started this shop because I wanted to create something that felt meaningful — not just a product, but a piece of a family's story.
I run Madi's Making Memories from my home, with my kids nearby (and occasionally underfoot). Every order is made by me, packed by me, and sent with genuine care. When you order from this shop, you're not buying from a warehouse — you're buying from a person who really does want your family to make beautiful memories together.
